The tablet stand includes brackets that hold your device securely in place. Depending on the port arrangement of your device, some ports may or may not be covered while in the tablet stand.
The iPad, iPad 2 and iPad 3 Dock Connector may be obscured from charging while in the tablet stand. There is no issue charging the iPad 4 and above in the tablet stand because the Lightning Connector is smaller.
For best results with any tablet, it is recommended that your device’s battery be fully-charged before placing it in the tablet stand.
